The Sofia Jazz Days concert series by Jazz Plus aims for the fifth consecutive year to create an interesting and highly artistically valuable program for the Sofia audience and guests of the city in the heart of Sofia, in order to enrich the cultural life of the capital, to provide an encounter with an actively developing genre for the interested and searching diverse audiences in the city.

Postcard is one of the original new Bulgarian groups and will present new pieces at Sofia Jazz Days, which are preparing their upcoming new album. Postcard combines the need for self-expression through art of young musicians and their bright artistic position, achieved through a common direction. They define their sound as modern jazz, subordinate to the tradition of hard bop and bebop trends from the middle of the last century. Their aspiration is to create new original music, in which the “new” and the “original” are not an end in themselves, but a happy coincidence that reveals them as artists.
Their new repertoire comes under the name “Next Steps”. The main idea behind the project is to gather the worries and excitement that were an integral part of their summer tour in 2024 and their return to Bulgaria after their graduation in Groningen, the Netherlands last year. Postcard are Nedelcho Ninov (trombone), Ralitsa Toneva (alto saxophone) and Vilizar Gichev (guitar), Teodor Toshkov (drums) and two of the brightest musicians on the Bulgarian scene, namely Arnau Garofe Faras - tenor saxophone and Dimitar Karamfilov - double bass.
